In the forest there was a bright candy house. A brother and sister smelled the sweet air and went inside. A witch lived there, but she did not want to eat them. She was under a curse and had to live in the candy house for many years. Every day she fixed the house with candy, but it always broke again. Only happy laughter could break the curse. At first the children were scared, but then they saw the witch was just lonely. They played, told jokes, and laughed together. The candy house shone with light and turned into a field of flowers. The witch became a kind gardener and gave the children a bag of candy that never melts.
The witch was trapped inside the candy house, and in the end, the children rescued her.
